Louis Delétraz #17 (Josef Kaufmann Racing): “I was next to Kevin in the first corner. As we are teammate I had to keep calm. The race had only started. And I thought about the championship as well. My speed was good but I couldn’t overtake Kevin. We are leading in the championship so we had a great weekend.”

Kevin Jörg #15 (Josef Kaufmann Racing): “I did not have the best start   but I found a good race pace. I could create a little gap to stay in front. I will only drive three races with the NEC but I learned a lot this weekend.”

Steijn Schothorst #11 (Manor MP Motorsport): “I started good but couldn’t pass Kevin and Louis before the first corner. I did follow them but was not fast enough to overtake. We have to work at our speed but I am ready to do my part in this.”

Lars Kaufmann (teammanager Josef Kaufmann Racing): “You cannot have a better start of the season. I told Kevin and Louis not to fight each other. Both did a very good job, so I am very happy.”
