As the Northern European Cup has grown over the past years, the organization never lost sight of the national character of the series. In accordance, NEC wants to be an accessible championship to teams and drivers engaged in formula racing, guarding its principles at all times. That is why the NEC, as only Renault Sport series in Europe, has thought of an attractive way to relieve the teams of these extra charges.

By compensating the teams for the 20% increase of tyre prices, NEC wants to help teams to keep their expenses as low as possible, making themselves within reach to drivers with limited budgets.

The deal states that teams, who are fully registered for the entire season of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup, receive a refund of 20 Euros per tyre in sum. To make the deal even more interesting, the refund is remitted in spare parts, managed through the Renault Sport department in Bruhl, Germany plus a discount through the Michelin Tyre Supplier HGS, Germany. To clarify the exceptional deal that the organization exclusively offers, please find the conditions below.

In order to receive a refund on a Michelin tyre;

-   A team should be registered for a complete season of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup.

-  There is a maximum of twenty sets of tyres, meaning all tyres used in events.

-  Only used and marked new tyres are refunded.

-  The refund is only valid at Renault Sport Germany.

- The refund is only remitted at the end of the season.
