The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup has crowned its champions during the Finale Races at Zandvoort. Matt Parry secured his title in the first race of the weekend. Meanwhile, Oliver Rowland proved to be a class of his own under the extreme weather conditions and took home two victories for the Dutch squad of MP Manor Motorsport. Due to the heavy rain, extreme winds and cold, the third race of the weekend was cancelled.

The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup finishes the spectacular 2013 season this weekend in the dunes of Zandvoort, the Netherlands. Matt Parry saw his lead decrease during the last round in Most, but still has a comfortable advantage of 75 points. With 30 points for each win and three races to go, Jack Aitken still has a chance of snatching the title, but needs a small miracle to do so.

Oliver Rowland (MP Manor Motorsport) put down two dominant victories during the sixth round of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup. The third race held at the Truck Prix in Most was taken by Steijn Schothorst (Josef Kaufmann Racing). Meanwhile it was a weekend to forget for points leader Matt Parry, who scored three 0 points, leaving the title decision for the last round of the 2013 at Zandvoort in October.

The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup travelled to Most, Czech Republic for the penultimate round of the 2013 season. It could be a deciding round for this year’s title as well. Matt Parry leads with more than 120 points. If he gets out of the Czech Republic a difference over 90, he cannot be beaten during the last round at Zandvoort anymore.

Steijn Schothorst (Josef Kaufmann Racing) achieved the maximum score during the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC weekend at Assen. The young Dutchman wrote two pole positions, two fastest laps, and two victories to his name. Meanwhile, Matt Parry and Jack Aitken scored good points for their championship, maintaining the lead in the Northern European Cup.

The Formula Renault 2.0 NEC saw two great races at the world famous track of Spa Francorchamps. The fourth round of the championship fulfilled the promise of an action packed weekend. With a victory for Oscar Tunjo on Friday and three different teams on the podium on Saturday, the NEC set another example of competitive racing.

Matt Parry (Fortec Motorsport) has won the sixth and seventh race of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup. Teammate Jack Aitken proved best of the rest and took two second places during the Blanc Pain Endurance weekend at Silverstone. Dennis Olsen (Josef Kaufman Racing) and Nicolas Jamin (ART Junior Team) scored their first podium places of the season, significantly increasing their rankings in the championship.

The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup hits the United Kingdom for the first time ever. The British premiere will be a remarkable one as well; the NEC will run during the Blanc Pain Endurance Series at the world famous track of Silverstone. Close to thirty competitors will battle for the first points on British ground in the 6th and 7th race of the 2013 season.

Caterham's talent Matt Parry (Fortec Motorsport) took two convincing wins at the Nurburgring. As the two Lotus F1 Junior Team drivers Ocon and Tunjo joined him for the first race, the second podium consisted of Kaufmann’s Gustav Malja and Fortec’s Pakari. With his two wins, Parry took a dominant lead in the current standings of the Northern European Cup.

After a stunning opening weekend at the Hockenheimring, the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup hits the other German Formula One track for the second round of the 2013 season. Olliver Rowland (Manor MP Motorsport) collected three podium places and the first place in the rankings. However, he will not be contesting at the Nurburgring, offering plenty of chances to the other frontrunners to get past. ART Junior Team and Fortec Motorsport have the best cards at the moment, but with 36 competitors at the start, anything can happen.

The first weekend of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup has been a great success; an enormous field of almost fourty cars and three exciting races with each a different winner. Esteban Ocon, Jake Dennis and Andrea Pizzitola got away with the victories, but Matt Parry set the tone for the NEC title at the Hockenheimring.

The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup starts a record-breaking season this upcoming weekend at the Hockenheimring. Never before were so many cars registered for all of the seven events of the series. The first one this weekend at the Hockenheimring will count close to forty drivers, from eighteen different nationalities.

Forty registered cars on the 1st of March indicate the immense interest for the FIA authorized championship. 17 year old NEC Champion Jake Dennis has won the British Autosport Awards. His prize consists of a Formula One test with McLaren, 100.000 pounds, a full membership of the British Racing Drivers Club, a watch and racewear. Other winners of the Autosport Awards are Jenson Button, David Coulthard, and Dario Franchitti.

The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup saw the final round of the 2012 season this past weekend at the world famous track of Spa – Francorchamps. With 36 drivers from 20 nationalities, it was definitely an action packed winner with Josh Hill winning on Sunday morning, and the surprising victory of Yu Kanamaru in the afternoon. After the last two races, it was also time to crown the 2012 NEC champion: Jake Dennis of the Fortec Motorsport team.

Josh Hill won the first, Steijn Schothorst the second and Jordan King scored his first win of the year during the third and last race. The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup visits the Netherlands for the last time this season. The Trophy of the Dunes forms the seventh round of the 2012 series and sees almost 30 competitors registered to compete in the three scheduled races. If Jake Dennis manages to gather a 60-point lead toward Jordan King, the title could well be decided between the Dutch dunes.

The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup continues it’s Central European tour. After the Red Bull Ring in Austria just last weekend, the full paddock of NEC now travels to the racetrack of Most. The Truck Prix hosts the sixth round of the cup, offering three races during the upcoming weekend of 1 and 2 September.

Alex Riberas reigned in the wet race of Sunday morning, as his teammate Stoffel Vandoorne drove to a convincing victory in an action packed second race at the Austrian Red Bull Ring early Sunday evening. With a podium in the second race, Jake Dennis scored important points for the championship and extended his lead in the current rankings.

While Jake Dennis did the best business for this year’s ranking, McLaren F1 talent Nyck de Vries amazed all during the Gamma Racing Days at the TT track of Assen. After a bad start, De Vries fell back to the eighth position, but managed to take back the lead just ten laps after.

The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup and its 35 cars hit the Netherlands for the fourth round of the 2012 season. The Gamma Racing Day at the TT track of Assen is not only one of the highlights of this years calendar, but also marks the half way point with the 9th and 10th race to be held in the upcoming weekend on the 4th and 5th of August.

The third round of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup saw only British winners. The first two races on Saturday were for Josh Hill, whilst Jake Dennis managed to take the victory during the last race on Sunday. With weather extremes, a lot of overtaking for podium places and a strong field of 30 cars, the NEC can look back on a very successful weekend.

The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup has reached the third station in its international calendar. After the races at Hockenheim and the Nurburgring, the 210 bhp formula cars drive the next round at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Because the current leader in the standings will not attend this race, the thirty other young race drivers will compete for the overall lead during the last German round of the 2012 championship.

The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup saw maximum results for Stoffel Vandoorne. With two pole positions and two victories on the famous Nurburgring, the RACB driver for Josef Kaufmann Racing was a class of his own. The only one coming close this weekend was Mclaren talent Nyck de Vries for R Ace GP, scoring a first podium in his motorsport career in formula cars.

Almost 40 cars are expected to race at the famous track in the German Eiffel in the pre-programme of the successful German VLN Endurance series. The first round of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup turned out to be quite an eventful first run of the series. Under heavy rain and even hail, close to forty Formula Renault’s fought their way through, resulting in three podium finishes for Jake Dennis for Fortec Motorsport and two victories for Stoffel Vandoorne and Josef Kaufmann Racing.

The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup kicked off for 2012 with four days of collective testing at Oschersleben and Hockenheim. Whilst Oschersleben worked as a warm up, the big number of 26 Formula Renaults collected at Hockenheim to find the right set up for the first race of the series in 2012, to be held in four weeks at the German Formula One track.

As everyone directly involved with motorsport has noticed, the prices of racing rubber have gone sky high over the past few months. The organizing team of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup recognizes the significant raise of costs for the teams and starts a campaign to compensate NEC teams for the considerable increase of their budgets.

The finale of the Northern European Cup was one to remember. With temperatures over 30 degrees, 22 participants and constant fights for podium the last three races of 2011 were a pleasure to watch, as Daniil Kvyat took all victories and Sainz claimed the title and his cup for the 2011 season.

Carlos Sainz Junior has claimed the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup in the penultimate round of the 2011 season. Two second places and one win were enough to secure the title this year, whilst teammate Daniil Kvyat wrote both other NEC victories at the Truck Prix to his name.
